So it has been quite a long time since I have posted. We are all doing well. Bridger and Connor started school and are well into there second term. Bridger is a Sophomore at Maple Mountain High School. Connor is in 8th grade at Diamond Fork Junior High School. We just celebrated Connor's 14th birthday last Tuesday the 24th. Then we had a great Thanksgiving Celebration at Mom and Dad's house. We are trying to get ready for Christmas but as the boys get older the harder it is to shop for them so I'm not quite as ready as I would like to be. We will be ready by the time the Big day gets here. (I hope)
It has been one year since Scotty was in his car accident. He is doing remarkably well physically. He still has problems with his eyes watering and draining, but it is improving. He has been at his Mom's in Colorado for quite awhile and we hear from him once in awhile. He is going through some hard times right now and all we can do is pray for him. It's hard to be so far away from him when he needs our love and support. We love him very much and hope that everything turns out OK for him in his life and through these struggles.
At this time of year makes us reflect on the many things we have been blessed with in our lives. We are all healthy and strong. Scotty survived his accident without any major complications. We have a nice home where we can enjoy each others company. We have loving friends and family that support us in all we do and we are so very thankful for all of you!! Thanks to all those who have shared there love and prayers with us! We love you all so much! We hope that at this time of year you all will be blessed and watched over by our loving Father in Heaven.

Exchange Student from Spain/ Martin Murua

We have a new exchange student with us from Spain. His name is Martin Murua. I have taken pictures of a few of the things we have done with him.We went bowling and Fat Cats.

Connor had his last baseball game after Martin got here so he was able to see him play.

We took Peyton and Lainey and went to the Canyon View park for a picnic. We also fed the ducks.

We had sandwiches and chips on our picnic.

We are the YSA advisers for our ward and we had a hot dog and marshmallow roast. While we were there we played croquet.

We went to Temple Square. This is a picture of Brian, Connor, and Martin outside the SLC LDS Temple.

This is Connor and Martin in front of the Christus Statue at Temple Square.

We went to Hogle Zoo. Here are the boys by the gorilla statue.

OH NO!!! Connor is being swallowed by a LION!

Aren't they the COOLEST boys you've ever seen?

We are getting another exchange student from Spain on June 27th. We are so excited. We had so much fun last year with Anton also from Spain. This year we are getting a 15 yr old named Martin Murua. The boys are very excited. We will try to take him to some of the fun places Utah has to offer. We have tickets to the Stadium of Fire that will be fun. We will try to post pictures of our activities as we do them. If anyone has any suggestions of places we shouldn't miss showing him please let us know.

Not much new going on in our family. We are awaiting the upcoming end of the school year. I'm not sure that we are excited about it though. Scott is coming back from Colorado next week. He is going to see the eye doctor again. He keeps having problems with his left eye, hopefully they can fix it. We are looking forward to the upcoming Memorial Day so we can go on our annual family camp out with Brian's family. We are also looking forward to getting another exchange student from Spain. If anyone else is interested in getting one let me know they have a few who haven't been placed in a home yet. We really enjoyed it last year and hope to get the same out of it this year with a different student. Brian and I recently celebrated our 16 year anniversary. It doesn't seem like it has been that long. We have enjoyed every minute of it (almost). Time sure does fly when your having fun. We have such a good relationship. We both consider the other to be our best friend. We work so well together. He does all the cleaning and I do all the dirtying (with a lot of help from the boys). What a great combination. I would have to say that I am the luckiest person in the whole world to have Brian for a husband. Love you honey, Happy Anniversary!!

Connor is hitting the pinata of course being the oldest he was able to break it for the little kids!

Here is Bridger doing what Bridger does best playing his DS and ignoring everyone else. Look at the hall all the other kids got from the Easter Egg hunt.

Easter was fun this year, although it was kinda cold and it sprinkled on us. As you can see we had an egg hunt at both grandparents houses. Of course Bridger is to old for that now (according to him) and so he stayed inside and played his DS, but at least we got him to join the party and not just stay home. Scott stayed at his Mom's house. As you can see the kids got a great hall from their hunts. The Easter bunny also came on Saturday before they went to bed and brought new videos for them. We decided to keep Sunday focused on why we celebrate Easter. Connor was asked to give a talk on How Easter Strengthens His Testimony, he did a wonderful job I'm very proud of him. Brian helped him but he did most of it himself using a story he found of LDS.org. The choir also sang one of my favorite songs This Is The Christ. I of course cried while trying to sing not very pretty I'm sure but that song always touches my heart. I love this time of year when we can focus on Christ and all that he did for us what a magnificent gift he gave to each of us. I hope that I can keep this feeling with me throughout the coming year!!

Today is Bridger's birthday. He is turning 15 today if you can believe that. He is getting very tall. He is excited for his birthday party with the family tonight. He is having a chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream, nothing to overboard, the plainer the better with Bridger. Well if I remember to take pictures of him opening his presents and eating his cake I will download them, but knowing me I will forget.

Molly convinced my to get on face book, so I now have a profile there. I can't believe how many people I found from school. This week has gone about the same as usual. Family and Work. Fun, Fun, Fun! Nothing really new, aren't we boring. (finally)! It has been nice having things back to normal after our not so normal Thanksgiving and Christmas. Things are finally calm, just the way I like them. Brian and I are going to Rascal Flats concert on Thursday that ought to add a little bit of excitement into our week! I'm actually really excited. It has been a long time since I have been to a concert. I'll let all of you jealous people know how good it was on Friday!

Don't have have the cutest kids in the whole world!! Ok I know I'm bragging. I know I already showed off some of our family pictures but since I'm doing an update on each of us I thought you would want reminder of how cute the boys are as you read about them!!

Well it has been a while since I've been on. Sorry about that. January flew by. Scott had another surgery on his left eye. The eye bottom lid was rolling in because of the scar tissue. They had to go in and cut away the scare tissue and then they pumped it full of collagen (not sure how to spell). He had a two week check up and the doctor said the collagen was separating for the lid so he has another check up scheduled for March 9. If it hasn't fixed itself they will have to go in and remove the collagen that separated. The rolling looks like it is fixed but he will check that again as well. Since he doesn't have any immediate medical appointments he is back in Colorado with his Mom.

The other boys are settling back it so school for the second have of the year. The holidays went well but I'm always glad when we can get back to normal. Bridger thrives on sameness. So we try really hard not to change up our routine to much. He was a trooper while Scott was down. He tried really hard to talk quiet (that is really hard for him!!), he also tried really hard to be helpful and kind to Scott (that to is hard). I was worried about his grades suffering but he actually did quite well. I have to give credit to the great study skills teacher he has for last period who makes sure he works on all his assignments and helps him get them turned in. I know he would have failed without her. My mom has found a few good books on Aspergers Syndrome and Brian has been getting newsletters on line about it. It is amazing how well Bridger fits in with all the symptoms of this. We thought he had OCD but the Aspergers descriptions fits him to a tee.

Connor is in orchestra this year and is really enjoying learning how to play the violin. He does so well at the Junior High. He always does his homework without being asked and he is very responsible. He also helps out so much with Bridger. It's probably hard for the younger brother to help take care of the older brother but Connor does it anyway. He has tons of patience most of the time (although sometimes he's a typical teenager) He helps me tons and I really appreciate it.

Brian went back to work in Lindon. He is still working and Sunroc. It is kind of a far drive but it doesn't seem to bother him. I think he enjoys being back over there with his coworkers, I think he missed having them to talk to while his was at the Spanish Fork location.

I'm still at the bank and I work about 20 hours a week. I also teach about 14 kids piano. That makes it so I can be home in the afternoon when the boys are home. I don't know how long I will continue teaching I'm getting kinda burned out. I've been teaching for 6 or 7 years now.
